Hi there!!! How´re things???

I´m writing to tell you how excited I am to know that you´re coming here next month! But as you said Brasília is such a boring city, I asked a few students to give some suggestions on what to do around here.
So I told them you´re coming in the end of April, so they´re supposed to give you some information about the weather, give you some advice on things to bring, details of what you can do and they´re going to request for you to bring something. Of course, the last part is only to fulfill the requirements of the task I gave them (yeah! Thank God you´re not supposed to bring what they ask! hehehehe)

My ideal city

In my ideal city, there are many trees and fresh air. There isn't any traffic jams because public transport is very good. People are friendly and sociable and there are much free space for the children to play. The cost of living is reasonable: not too cheap nor too expensive. There are beautiful parks.

My best friend

My best friend is Carol. She is 28 years old. She is tall and slim and very beautiful. She has long blonde hair, brown eyes and a wonderful smile. She is sociable, helpful, but sometimes a little bit moody.

We are very good friends!

Childhood in the 80's

Childhood nowadays is a lot about technology. Children enjoy spending time online, playing videogames. Very rarely do they go outside to play. There are consoles as PSP, DS, Wii, PS3, X-Box... There are so many different types that I can't even count.

However, in the past, children were actually children. They played outside, climbed trees, ran around, played hide-and-seek, tag, dodgeball, they skipped ropes. It was extremely fun!

There were exciting movies, as ET, with Drew Barrymore.

There were skates and bikes. Kids ran all over the place, they fell down.

The number of scars can show how much fun a person had as a child.

Nobody needed to be scared because there was no violence. Well, at least not as much as nowadays.

My homecard

I live in a nice apartment in Aguas Claras. There are 2 bedrooms, a study, a living/dining room, a kitchen, a laundry, 3 bathrooms, a balcony and a patio. I think it is a very comfortable place.
My favorite place in the apartment is the living room, where I only have my TV and a big couch. No more furnitures. So, instead, I have open space to practice my ballet movements.

My favorite place in the city is Pontao, a beautiful place next to the lake, where you have a wonderful view.

It is very relaxing to sit there, in a café, drinking a hot capuccino and watching the sunset with good company. The evening can be very pleasant.
